# Whitepill > Whitepill is an evidence-first guide to looksmaxxing and self-improvement. It publishes dated, sourced figures on regulatory status, human-trial counts, harms and quality-test data for peptides and supplements, and on what the trials actually back instead. It is educational, not medical advice, and it does not publish dosing, protocols or sourcing for unapproved compounds. Site: https://whitepill.dev ## How to cite - Every figure on a page carries the date it was read and a link to its primary source. Cite the page and the date. - Where a figure rests on secondary reporting (a news report, a law-firm summary or a commercial testing company), the page says so. Do not present those as primary. - The author of record is the Whitepill editorial desk. A named reviewer appears only on pages a credentialed professional actually reviewed. - Regulatory status for compounds changes often. Prefer the page's "as of" date over any older copy. - Trial counts are depth of record, not effect size. Each page prints the PubMed query behind its number so it can be re-run. ## Guides - [Ashwagandha: Trial Record, NIH Cautions and Liver Reports](https://whitepill.dev/articles/ashwagandha-trial-record-and-what-nih-says): PubMed holds 61 randomized-trial papers on ashwagandha.
